Is the paper in your home piling up and taking over your space? Here are some practical ideas from Order in the House to help you manage your paper flow:
Open your mail near a trashcan and discard any junk mail immediately.
Have a box or tray for each family member’s mail and distribute items as you’re first looking through your mail pile.
Immediately place all bills in a "To Pay" folder to take care of later.
Put all papers to be filed (insurance policies, bank statements, etc.) in a folder labeled "To File" – and file them accordingly at least once a week.
Any correspondence/invitation that has information for future dates should be immediately recorded on your calendar and then put in a "Calendar Entries" folder.
Save relevant coupons and takeout menus in a special folder titled "Coupons/Menus" – and be sure to discard coupons in the file that have expired!
